Systems Engineer

Working with a leading business in Worcester in their search for a Systems Engineer on a permanent hybrid basis. Paying up to £60,000 base + benefits
Main Duties of the Position

To participate in the development of system designs, integration, verification and validation of projects and products.

As a member of a small dynamic team, the role involves elements of engineering management and hands-on engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Production of requirements specifications in-line with customer and product needs.
Implementation of system designs to meet requirements.
Overseeing internal or external resources implementing sub-system designs.
Directly implementing sub-system designs to suit experience.
Production and execution of test strategies, test plans and test procedures to verify and validate designs.
Design/prototype evaluation, fault finding, diagnosis and resolution.
Customer engagement to elicit requirements, present designs for approval and provide post-delivery customer support.
Co-ordinating in-house/external production.
Supplier liaison.
Technical support to customers and other departments within the company.
