Mechanical Design Engineer. Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer proficient in SolidWorks to join their design team. This role involves developing and refining designs for high-security fencing products, ensuring they are functional, durable, and meet strict industry standards. The successful candidate will play an integral role in designing secure, efficient solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life.

Mechanical Design Engineering Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine detailed designs for security fencing and related products using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project specifications are met within set timelines.
- Adhere to rigorous national and international security standards within all designs.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production handoffs.
- Perform design analysis and simulations to enhance product strength and durability.
- Review and improve existing designs to streamline manufacturing and reduce costs.

Mechanical Design Engineering Requirements:
- Experience: A strong background in mechanical design.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, with a solid understanding of design principles is essential.
- Knowledge: Experience with manufacturing processes and creating engineering drawings.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, permanent days, flexible hours.
