HR Advisor
SF Recruitment have recently partnered with a blue collar business who are looking for an experience HR Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a small, collaborative HR team, playing a key role in supporting and coaching managers across the business.
Salary: up to £40,000 (dependant on experience)
Hours: 8-4 Monday to Friday (site based)
The Role
As HR Advisor, you will provide practical, hands-on HR support, with a strong focus on employee relations. You will work closely with managers to guide them through people issues, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising and coaching managers on all employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, performance, and capability
- Supporting investigations, hearings, and appeals, ensuring best practice is followed
- Providing clear and pragmatic HR advice aligned to employment law and company policies
- Contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across site operations
- Supporting wider HR initiatives as part of the HR team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a generalist HR or HR Advisor role
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above preferred)
- Strong experience managing a wide range of employee relations cases
- The confidence to coach and influence managers at all levels
- A practical, solutions-focused approach, ideally with experience in construction, engineering, or a similar fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
