Management Accountant

SF are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant role based in Derby (Accessible from Nottingham and Derby) on a full time, permanent basis with opportunity to progress further and offer study support.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Job duties:
Reporting directly into the Financial Controller and supporting them
Produce Monthly Management Packs up to review
Oversee and support Assistant Management Accountant and check Purchase and Sales Ledger are reconciled correctly
Month - End duties (Month - End Journals including Accruals & Prepayments, Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations)
Review VAT Returns and submit
Check Fixed Asset Register and Journals
Assist with preparing Budgets and Forecasts
Cashflow Forecasts
KPI Reporting

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Ideally studying ACCA/ACA/CIMA, as a minimum be AAT Qualified
Looking for progression and to manage a small team (Dont need management experience)
Great work ethic and right attitude to help and support where needed
Excellent attention to detail
Good experience on Accounting software's and strong Excel experience
