Hours: Full-time, WFH 2 days a week

About the Role
We are seeking a driven and proactive Management Accountant to join our fast-paced finance team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is a high-impact role that requires someone with strong analytical capabilities and a hands-on approach to multi-site financial management.

Key Responsibilities
- Monthly Management Accounts: Full ownership of the P&L and balance sheet, producing accurate monthly management accounts.
- Month-End Reporting: Deliver prompt and precise month-end close activities, including variance analysis against budget.
- Stakeholder Support: Work closely with General Managers and departmental heads, providing insightful cost analysis and responding to queries on monthly P&Ls and management packs.
- Multi-Site Support: Regular site visits to clubs to support local management, resolve finance-related issues, and review individual club performance.
- Financial Operations: Active involvement in all day-to-day and month-end finance activities, including raising period-end journals (accruals, prepayments, etc.).
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Timely completion and correction of balance sheet reconciliations and related items.
- Fixed Asset Management: Full ownership of the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accurate recording and reporting.
- Audit Support: Contribute to the year-end audit process, acting as a key liaison with external auditors.

About You
- Part or fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Strong experience in management accounting, ideally in a multi-site environment
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-moving business
- Able to communicate confidently with non-finance stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a commercial mindset and a proactive attitude
