Management Accountant

They are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Management Accountant to support the organisation's financial planning and performance. This is a key role responsible for preparing management and consolidated accounts, tracking key operational metrics, and delivering insightful financial reporting to aid strategic decision-making.

key tasks:

- Financial Reporting & Management Accounts
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts for multiple sites and at group level.
- Post and review all relevant journals, accruals, and prepayments as part of the month-end process.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and commentary on financial performance versus budget and forecast.
- Prepare consolidated accounts and reports for senior stakeholders.
- Operational & Site-Level Reporting
- Produce and maintain operational performance reports and occupancy/resource utilisation data across sites.
- Analyse and report on trends, cost drivers, and performance metrics specific to each location.
- Collaborate with operational managers to ensure financial reports reflect real-world activity.
- KPI & Performance Monitoring
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Partner with departmental and site-level managers to support accurate financial planning and cost control.
- Act as a finance business partner, supporting the leadership team with data-driven insights.
