Management Accountant

My client are a property investment business based in Manchester. Due to recent acquisitions they are recruiting this newly created role on a permanent basis into their vibrant and expanding finance function, there will be excellent opportunities to develop and progress within the business as it continues to grow so this is very much a career opportunity.

As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for cash flow management, including forecasting cash flows and maintaining adequate liquidity across various bank accounts, preparing financial statements, management reports and group consolidations, managing group VAT returns and liaise with tax advisors on annual income tax returns, assist with the internal audit process, prepare monthly shareholder updates and quarterly KPI reports for clients, as well as assisting with internal compliance requirements and monitoring debt compliance for clients.

This role will suit a newly qualified accountant who has experience in a management accounting position who is looking for a step up with a wider range of responsibilities. The salary on offer is paying up to £50,000 dependant on experience with an attractive benefits package that includes hybrid working and a generous holiday package along with great scope for development and progression within the company.
