Management Accountant

SF are currently working exclusively with a Manufacturing business based in Pinxton recruiting for a Management Accountant on a full time permanent basis. This is a great role for someone who is looking to study and progress further as will have the opportunity to become Financial Controller within 12-24 months. 

Salary up to £45,000

Full office based - Pinxton
Hours - 8:30am-5pm/8-4:30/9-5:30

Must be on a 1 month notice period maximum

Job duties:
Month End Reporting requirements - management of the month end, including sales reconciliation, accruals, prepayments, banking.
Primary responsibility for fixed asset register and rebates.
VAT returns compliance.
Transactional postings for banking, payroll and accruals/prepayments.
Business support where necessary to support the increasing impact of the finance department in the wider business.
Ad hoc tasks, analysis and reporting as required by the Finance Manager and CFO.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Experience in a similar role doing Month - End tasks and involved in preparing Management Accounts

AAT Qualified and looking to study or be Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
