Financial Controller

SF Executive are partnered with a West Midlands based, private equity backed industrial services business who are seeking a Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a critical role in the development of the business as it continues to scale. It provides a motivated individual with an ideal opportunity to grow with the business during its next phase as well as providing exposure to the private equity environment.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the financial control environment including all finance operational processes and development of business systems.

The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Finance and operational systems
- Treasury/ cash management
- Cash forecasting
- Billing/ credit control/ purchase ledger
- Integration of new acquisitions
- Governance
- Maintaining a clean audit report
- Supporting commercial teams on margin improvement plans

The successful Financial Controller will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years' operating at this level. You will be an ambitious character who is keen to learn from an experienced CFO and develop their skillset towards becoming a Finance Director.
