SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join our client based in South Derbyshire. This business have a number of sites across the UK offering a range of services. This role reports to the Finance Director.

Key accountabilities:

- Operate as finance lead and business partner to one of the businesses core divisions
- Preparation and analysis of the budget, actual monthly results and financial forecasts and report variances
- Coordinate and ensure timely and accurate preparation of month end accounts
- Prepare financial information for the head office finance team
- Prepare and develop new KPIs to help the business understand and improve performance
- Monitor financial performance of major business contracts
- Evaluate investment and acquisition opportunities
- Provide financial and analytical support to key business decision making

Our client is keen to attract a commercially focused Finance professional with strong partnering skills. The role is ideally suited to a business partner seeking a step in to a financial controller position or a tenured controller used to working closely with business operations.
