Financial Accountant

SF are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant based in Nottingham on a permanent basis for a brilliant company that offers study support, flexible working and great opportunities. This is a great opportunity for an Assistant /Management Accountant looking to gain experience within Financial Accounting and Business Partnering.

Salary up to £35,000

Hybrid working - 2 days working from home
Hours - 9:30 - 5:30

Job duties:
- Production of the monthly management accounts. Including balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals and prepayments.
- Production of the quarterly consolidated accounts.
- Monthly KPI reporting.
- Monthly cash management and cashflow forecasting and distribution management.
- Review of quarterly VAT Returns.
- Quarterly intercompany reconciliations.
- Production of the annual budget.
- Production of the annual statutory accounts, complying with IFRS/ FRS 102 reporting.
- Assist with Debt and Lender reporting.
- Assist with Audit as required.
- Assist with Tax Compliance.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Previous experience in a similar role (Management or Financial Accounting)
Studying AAT or ACA/ACCA/CIMA - Open to different levels
Good Excel skills
Good attention to detail
Team player
