Credit Controller - 6 Month Contract
Location: Cannock
SF Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller available at short notice for a long term contract, based in Cannock. We're supporting a well-established business, who are seeking a confident, hands-on professional to join their finance team for a 6-month period to provide essential support within their credit control function.
Key Responsibilities :
As the Credit Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Proactively managing your own ledger of customer accounts
- Chasing overdue invoices via phone and email
- Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
- Resolving queries quickly and professionally
- Producing aged debt reports and assisting with cashflow forecasting
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required
Key Experience :
- Proven experience in credit control or a similar finance role
- Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
- Available immediately or on short notice
