Assistant Commercial Accountant

We are looking for a Assistant Commerical Accountant as soon as possible, to join for a very well-established manufacturing business in Leicester - in this role you will become a key business partner to their commercial team. You will need a solid understanding of the product Gross margin, will be advising on promotional mechanics, and delivering insight through customer Cost Models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the delivery of all commercial finance; daily/weekly reporting relating to both Sales and Margin
• Partner with the Commercial team, facilitating all requests and delivering on time and accuracy
• Heavily involved in all meetings throughout the NPD lifecycle
• Drive the finance agenda and challenge critical paths to ensure process is adhered to
• Oversee the preparation of Product Costings

Ideal Candidate:

• AAT or equivalent, or working towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ideally from a manufacturing background
• Excellent MS suite understanding with familiarity of Power BI
• Collaborative, excellent communicator who is able to build very strong relationships
